Where he wins pt. 2

Vildor does well at staying patient at the LOS and not being over-aggressive. He sits back and allows the receiver to dance behind the line while maintaining his technique. When you get aggressive at the LOS is when things go wrong and you get burned. Extremely quick reaction skills allow him to mirror and match off the line with ease.

This year (2019), Vildor hasn’t had the ball production of last year; it’s nothing to worry about because he isn’t seeing the same volume of targets as he did last season. He is strong with his hands at the catch point and fights through the ball. An easy reception doesn’t exist with Vildor lined up across from you.

Vildor is an absolute beast whenever he sees a screen to a receiver. He is quick to diagnose the play and is able to undercut the blocker to make a play behind the line more often than not. His click-and-close ability is up there with some of the top cornerbacks in his class.
