Oregon vs Arizona State: 2020 NFL Draft stock report as Ducks get upset
By Felix Davila
Another major showdown last Saturday occurred in Tempe, Arizona between two Pac-12 talented rosters loaded with 2020 NFL Draft talent.
The Oregon Ducks, looking to continue their road to the College Football Playoff, unfortunately, fumbled that opportunity when they were upset by Herm Edwards-led Arizona State Sun Devils. The final score was a close 31-28, but Ducks roster teeming with 2020 NFL Draft talent shouldn’t have lost to a then 5-5 team.
Now, the loss will stain Oregon’s season and leave the Ducks sitting out of the playoff hunt. However, the game was a great opportunity for the 2020 NFL Draft-eligible players to showcase their talents.
On both sides of the matchup, talented players lined up. From quarterback Justin Herbert and Oregon’s offensive line, to their talented linebackers and defensive front. Arizona State has some late blooming seniors who are making their names hear as well with the 2020 NFL Draft just five months away.
While Arizona State true freshman quarterback Jayden Daniels may be a highly regarded draft prospect in a couple years, he is not even eligible until the 2022 NFL Draft. Let’s take a look at the stock report for Saturday’s showdown.
