There will be no shortage of NFL prospects on the field when the Fighting Irish and Cardinal battle on Saturday. But which ones should you keep a closer eye on for the 2020 NFL Draft?

Notre Dame versus Stanford. The Fighting Irish versus the Cardinal. It is one of the most storied rivalries and competitive series in all of college football. The rivalry has been played on and off since all the way back in 1925 with Notre Dame leading the series 19-13. That being said, Stanford has had the Fighting Irish’s number lately winning seven of the last ten games in the series. This matchup features multiple 2020 NFL Draft prospects.

This season, while Notre Dame has seen they’re National Championship hopes go out the window, the Irish still have plenty to play for. They come into the game with a 9-2 record and with a win will position themselves nicely for a coveted New Year’s Day Bowl. On the other hand, while injuries have been a key part, Stanford has struggled throughout the year. They come into the game with a 4-7 record and will miss the postseason for the first time in a long time. That being said, the Cardinal will consider beating their rival as a great end to their disappointing season.

Both programs also have storied histories of having some very highly thought of prospects for the NFL. That is no different in 2019 with multiple top prospects on each team. Unfortunately, a few of the top prospects will not be playing in the game due to injury. That includes Paulson Adebo, KJ Costello, Walker Little, and Julian Okwara. However, there are plenty of solid NFL prospects on both teams to keep an eye on during the game.
