2020 NFL Draft: Mock Draft Monday before MNF kickoff
By Alex Barnett
16. Las Vegas Raiders – Tee Higgins, WR Clemson
Long, fluid, strong. These are the traits that Higgins possesses that make him an ideal fit for an offense lacking a true number one receiver.
17. Indianapolis Colts – Javon Kinlaw, IDL South Carolina
Kinlaw is a brawler. A high motor interior lineman will help break down a clean pocket for opposing quarterbacks. Expect higher production for edge players after this pick.
18. Los Angeles Raiders – Isaiah Simmons, LB Clemson
With the Riders second pick in the first round, they select arguably the top linebacker in the draft. Simmons is a long, explosive player who can cover sideline to sideline. Easy pick for Mike Mayock and the Raiders organization.
19. Tennessee Titans – Jacob Eason, QB Washington
Ryan Tannehill has played extremely well after taking over for Marcus Mariota, but I do not think he is the future of the Titans. Tannehill has shown that he can definitely be a bridge quarterback which is the perfect situation for the talented Jacob Eason should he declare for the draft.
20. Jacksonville Jaguars – Dylan Moses, LB Alabama
This is crazy to say, but the Jags need help in defense. Jacksonville is currently unable to contain the gaps against the run and is very thin at the linebacker position. Moses immediately brings another athletic and physical linebacker to the lineup to help Myles Jack better contain the run game.
