Oregon State wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins declares for 2020 NFL Draft
By Cory Kinnan
After three seasons with the Oregon State Beavers, standout wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins has declared for the 2020 NFL Draft.
Add another underclassman to the list of early declarations, as Oregon State wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins has decided to leave school early and enter into the 2020 NFL Draft. This group of receivers continues to get deeper as Hodgins joins the likes of Laviska Shenault and Jalen Reagor, who have both already declared for the draft as well.
Hodgins is listed at 6-4 and 209 pounds, and has gotten better each season he was with the Beavers. His progress came together head on in 2019, as Hodgins was named as a Fred Biletnikoff Award semi-finalist for the nation’s best receiver as a result of his achievements on the field.
As a freshman, Hodgins saw the field sparingly, but made an impact when the opportunity to see the football came his way, as he finished his first year of college football in 2017 with 275 yards receiving and two touchdowns on 31 catches. He took a massive leap forward last year, jumping his production up to 876 yards receiving and five scores on 59 catches for the Beavers in 2018.

This year, Hodgins managed to take yet another leap as he has posted his best numbers yet despite the struggles of Oregon State. He finished the last year his college career with 1,171 yards receiving and 13 scores on 86 catches this season.
In an already loaded wide receiver class, Isaiah Hodgins looks to leave his mark on the 2020 NFL Draft class. The youngster will now take his talents from the Pacific Northwest, to Indianapolis in March, to Las Vegas in April, to wherever he will land in the draft.
