Scouting Report

The Clemson standout, Tee Higgins, is making quite a statement near the end of his junior season and still has at least one more game (with two more likely) to strengthen his draft resume. At 6-4 and 205 pounds, Higgins is more than equipped to use his big body to make big plays down the field and use his wide catch radius to high point the football.

While Higgins lacks elite top end speed or agility, Higgins has some of the strongest hands in the class and shows great catch comfortability, extending his arms and keeping the football far from his chest. Higgins, while he struggles with footwork off of the line of scrimmage, has a great first step, shows great body control, and displays the ability to be a decent route runner.

Higgins is well on his way to beating last year’s pace of 59 catches for 936 receiving yards, and 12 touchdowns with a consistent performance in 2019. Thus far, with at least another game to go, the Clemson junior receiver has already tallied 43 catches for 900 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns.

Currently listed as a late second round or early third round grade, Higgins has the potential to catch the eye of an NFL team. Becoming a first round pick is not out of the question for Higgins as he has yet to announce a decision regarding his future.
