Jalen Reagor 1
We are now inside the top five, as TCU’s speedy, quick twitch receiver Jalen Reagor who just officially declared for the 2020 NFL Draft two days ago. While he may not be as fast as Alabama’s Ruggs III, Reagor is going to put on a show at the combine, and one that this writer cannot wait to watch.
After a disappointing year for the Horned Frogs where they failed to earn bowl eligibility, Reagor also saw a dip in production; this did not hide his tremendous abilities on film, however. While he is listed at just 5-11 and 195 pounds, Reagor has athleticism through the roof and great ball skills to boot; he even has experience as a return man, taking a punt back to the house this year.
Showing good hands and body control, Reagor has the ability to make splash plays down the field and near the sideline; he also possesses great ball tracking skills, making him a valuable deep threat at the next level. Reagor, however, also has the ability to win underneath as well, displaying elite footwork and route running ability to create separation on his breaks.
While he has been injury tested this year and has a smaller frame that allows him to be bullied off the line of scrimmage, he often times wins at the snap of the ball and uses his footwork to avoid getting jammed off the ball. Reagor has a mid-second round grade and has all the athleticism to blow up the combine in Indianapolis.
