Big Ten Title Game: Five 2020 NFL Draft Prospects to Watch

Tyler Biadasz OL
Scouting Report
The 6’3” and 321lb mauler at center for the Badgers is looking to solidify himself as a first-round prospect. Unfortunately we won’t see him matched up with Chase Young but he still can have a huge impact on this game. He has been creating holes upfront all year long for the run-heavy Wisconsin scheme.
Displays good overall athleticism to be versatile enough to play guard and center without it being a bumpy transition. Can get to the second level and effectively make blocks on linebackers and defensive backs in space. Biadasz shows the smooth lateral agility needed to slide his feet side to side while staying square.
Playing square allows him to play with a consistently good base as a run blocker and pass protector. Biadasz has very good strength when drive blocking to move guys against their will in the run game. Has the hand strength to latch on and take guys for a ride once he gets locked in on the chest plate.
Consistent hand placement doesn’t miss his target and can be counted on to execute his assignment on every play. He has very good awareness to identify stunts and twists in pass protection, showing a good understanding of when to help his teammates on blocks. Has a good short anchor in pass protection, allowing him to sit his base down and rely on his power to not be driven back into the quarterback.
Biadasz can be a key contributor in this game as the unquestioned leader of the Wisconsin Badgers offense. He has a chance to come out and set the tone for his teammates from the first snap. Tyler Biadasz plays with a mean streak, continuously finishing blocks through the echo of the whistle. He will need to bring that mentality all night long if he wants to help his team dethrone the Buckeyes.
