6. Detroit Lions – Isaiah Simmons, LB, Clemson

Much needed speed and versatility for a Lions defense that is a little sparse on playmakers.

7. Arizona Cardinals – Tristan Wirfs, OT, Iowa

D.J. Humphries is a free agent at the end of the season and the Cards should have no motivation to bring him back. Wirfs should help ensure Kyler Murray doesn’t have to scramble as much as he’s had to do in his rookie year.

8. Jacksonville Jaguars – Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama

The list of needs in Jacksonville is long but if Minshew mania is to be a long-term phenomenon, then more dynamic playmakers are needed on the Jags offense.

9. New York Jets – Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU

The Jets could have their pick of the two LSU defensive back talents worthy of a first-round pick. However, corner is a more pressing need than safety so it’s Fulton over Grant Delpit.

10. Los Angeles Chargers – Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon

Herbert didn’t blow anybody away with his performance in the Pac 12 title game but, with Tua Tagovailoa’s stock hurt by his injury, he’s the best candidate to take over the slumping Chargers offense.
