The New York Giants are in prime position for a top-three selection come the 2020 NFL Draft. Felix Davila tries to fill the void of talent.

After yet another dismal season, the New York Giants find themselves looking at another top 10 selection in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft, and a host of issues to fix. Fortunately for fans, there were bright spots that included the seeming heir to the quarterback throne being found in quarterback Daniel Jones, not to mention a host of other rookies like wide receiver Darius Slayton, defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence, and safety Jabrill Peppers, who was acquired in the Odell Beckham Jr. trade.

Armed with such a high pick, the Giants are in line to find themselves more premium talent, and hopefully change the trajectory of their historic franchise. Looking at their needs, I take a shot at rectifying many of the Giants’ issues in this seven-round mock draft.

The New York Giants top five positional needs (in no particular order):

Wide receiver
Offensive tackle
EDGE
Inside linebacker
Safety

2nd overall

34th overall
