A talented defensive lineman from Texas A&M, Justin Madubuike, has entered his name into the 2020 NFL Draft. He will not play in the Aggies’ bowl game.
Justin Madubuike is a 6’3, 304 defensive tackle that can play both the nose and under tackle in both a 3-4 and 4-3. Preferably he’s drafted to a team that runs four man front like the Aggies did under defensive coordinator Mike Elko. He has now declared for the 2020 NFL Draft.
According to Madubuike, he will not be participating in the bowl game against Oklahoma State. He’s a redshirt junior that broke out as a redshirt sophomore with 40 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks during the 2018 season. He produced at a similar level in 2019, posting 45 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks.
In the Aggies’ defensive front, he has been used on the interior and on the edge in certain packages. The positional versatility will only help his value on draft weekend as teams are increasingly looking for versatility on defense.

He leaves College Station with a career stat line of 105 tackles, 24.5 tackles for loss, and 11 sacks. Madubuike was selected for the All-SEC team in 2019. Madubuike was a rock in the Aggies defense, making every start possible in his two seasons as a contributor.
He has great play strength and doesn’t get lost in the wash, easily identifying the ball carrier and making the play. Hand usage has improved this season as well. He’s one of the more underrated interior linemen in the class. Hasn’t been invited to a postseason all-star event. Madubuike now enters the 2020 NFL Draft looking to take the next step in his career.
