In Vance Meek’s first NFL mock draft of the year, the offensive line are rising up the boards and several go in round one of this 2020 NFL Draft mock.

The 2019 college football regular season has ended, leaving just the bowl games to be played. As the NFL season rushes to its own finish, more and more teams find themselves eliminated from playoff contention. This means that more and more teams are beginning to look towards 2020 and beyond. The NFL Draft, obviously, becomes a major focus as teams start evaluating talent and preparing to improve their rosters.

Draft analysts are in full-blown scouting mode as well, now grinding tape and writing up reports. It’s also the time of year when mock drafts are regularly tossed out. Predicting the draft is mostly a crapshoot, but it’s definitely fun to try and project what teams will do on draft day.

Accurately predicting the draft is basically impossible. So for this mock draft, this writer will proceed as if I were the acting general manager of all 32 teams. That said, here is what the first round could look like on draft day in 2020.

Author’s note: This is very early in the process, and as more tape is watched, this is likely to drastically change. Future versions of this mock draft should not only be informed, but will also get longer. The next one will be two rounds as I have more film having been viewed.
