Summary

Amik Robertson is an absolute stud of a playmaker at the collegiate level. There is no reason why he won’t be able to translate those skills to the next level. Robertson’s ball skills and instincts are elite as they come. Teams are going to salivate at the idea of having a player who can flip the field at any moment.

In today’s heavy passing game you need a player on the field who will make teams pay for putting the ball in the air. Robertson playing the nickel is also an excellent spot because that makes him a hard guy to avoid as teams love to attack the intermediate areas of the field.

Amik Robertson is ready to make people turn on his tape and trust me, you will not be disappointed. There will be some intrigue as to how well he tests at the combine but he seems to be a good enough athlete on tape. His high football acumen will always allow him to play faster than his times will tell.

He will have to showcase his ability to set the edge consistently and take on blocks as well to further help his development as a nickel. His traits stand out which is why he dominated his level of competition so don’t use that case against him in his evaluation because he did what he was supposed to do. Amik Robertson has a chance to be a special player if he translates this level of production to the next level.
