Scouting Report

Welcome to the unicorn experience, Isaiah Simmons is unlike anything we have ever seen before in a prospect. 6’4 and 230lbs with athleticism that is probably going to end up being the most freaky NFL Combine performance we’ve seen in years. For now though we will talk about how unreal he is as a football player.

The alleged linebacker needs to just create his own term because he is absolutely positionless. He was all over the field on Saturday night whether it be covering from the slot, rushing the passer, or filling gaps. Simmons is the real deal and he even found himself lining up in as the one-high safety just because he can do stuff like that.

He showed incredible range on his interception which isn’t what we should be seeing from a 6’4 and 230lb “linebacker” but we are witnessing a truly special player who is creating his own prototype as a prospect. Isaiah Simmons is going to find himself as they key cog in creating an elite NFL defense because he is creating his own way of playing the linebacker position.

One lucky NFL team is going to get a jack of all trades when they select Simmons early in the 2020 NFL Draft.
