Scouting Report

BEST CORNERBACK PROSPECT OF THE DECADE! This writer warned you but for whatever reason, Clemson didn’t get the memo and tried to throw at him way too often than they should have. Okudah found himself as the most trending topic on Twitter last night which is usually never good news for a cornerback prospect because it probably means he is getting burnt.

Instead, Okudah made Justyn Ross and Tee Higgins look incredibly human when they were in his coverage. He got the game started off early by laying a huge hit on the first play just to show how well he can tackle for those who doubted. He dominated whoever lined up in front of him all night long because he quite simply is unbelievable.

Jeffery Okudah already was a top three overall player in this class for me, hopefully this game allowed the rest of the country to see that this really isn’t just your ordinary CB1 prospect, he is as special as they will ever come. Better than Denzel Ward, Marshon Lattimore, Eli Apple, Gareon Conley and the rest of Ohio State’s cornerbacks in the NFL, Okudah has the chance to be a truly special player.

Looking like a top five lock, all questions of who the best cornerback in this year’s 2020 NFL Draft class should be all but answered by now.
