Scouting Report

This writer alluded to K’Von Wallace as one of the five players to watch and of course he showed up on Saturday night. He showed his versatility as a player who can move around the defense and make plays at every level. He consistently found himself around the football or impacting plays. He showed very good instincts in coverage that almost landed him with a pick six had he been able to secure the football.

Wallace found himself with a sack, a tackle for loss, and two pass breakups just to show how versatile of a player he is. He is impressive in coverage due to his high football IQ and more importantly he is a very good tackler in open space. He showed some savviness in his timing his blitzes as well which allowed him to cause quick pressure and flush the quarterback.

This is a really exciting prospect who won’t be a high pick but will definitely find himself as an impact player early in his career because of all he can do. K’Von Wallace is a stud who is the type of chess piece player that every defense needs to have and his stock is going way up with another big stage awaiting him.

Need a nickel? There are a ton of really good ones this year, including Wallace.
