Oklahoma WR CeeDee Lamb declares for 2020 NFL Draft

The explosive Sooners’ receiver CeeDee Lamb has declared for the 2020 NFL Draft after a standout career in Norman via his Twitter account.
The 6’2 189 junior wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is one of the best receivers in the 2020 NFL Draft class with an incredible amount of lateral burst and quickness that was on display numerous times this season; he should have won the Biletnikoff Trophy for his play over the past couple of seasons.
Lamb burst onto the scene as a sophomore that produced a mind boggling 65 receptions for 1,158 yards and 11 touchdowns as a 1B to current Baltimore Ravens rookie Marquise “Hollywood” Brown. He was even better as a junior even with all the defensive attention focused on him, producing 62 receptions for 1,327 yards and 14 touchdowns and 21.4 yards per receptions average.
If you pop in the 2019 Texas tape, there are several plays where he’s in a crowd of Longhorns defenders but he somehow wriggles out of the sticky situation and scores touchdowns. He’s an explosive athlete that should test well in the agility drills at the Combine.

Not the fastest receiver but his agility will be his calling card at the next level. Lamb has excellent ball tracking skills and is a bull with the ball in his hands. Route running is another plus to his game as he’s hyper-aware of his surroundings at all times. The medical will be something to monitor as he’s had little nicks here and there throughout his career.
The 2020 NFL Draft has a talented class of wide receivers, and CeeDee Lamb is one of the most talented among them. He won’t be waiting long to hear his name called in Las Vegas during April’s draft, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
