The Rose Bowl is one of the more prolific bowl games played in bowl season and this year will feature several big-time 2020 NFL Draft prospects.

The Rose Bowl is the oldest bowl game in college football history and the match-up between the Oregon Ducks and Wisconsin Badgers will be the Rose Bowl’s 106th time being played. For both programs — outside of the College Football Playoff and their rivalry games — this is the most important game they will play all season, especially those who are eligible for the 2020 NFL Draft.

When both teams took the field in their conference championship games it looked as though they would both appear in the game win or lose. Each wanted to win their respective titles, but of the two Oregon came out on top and despite a valiant effort against Ohio State in the first half, Wisconsin would eventually lose that game.

This will be the second time in the Rose Bowl’s history that Oregon and Wisconsin will face-off, and if it’s anything like their last, we’re in for a good one folks. The Ducks came out on top (45-38) in 2012, but it was a close game all the way until the end.

We saw several players in that game who would go on to have NFL careers — Russell Wilson being the most successful out of the bunch thus far and things seem to be shaping out similarly with several NFL prospects taking the field on New Years Day.
