After three successful seasons with the Oklahoma Sooners, linebacker Kenneth Murray has decided to declare for the 2020 NFL Draft.

This linebacker class in the 2020 NFL Draft is a bit wacky at this point as Isaiah Simmons is the best at the position and does not truly play linebacker, and Dylan Moses seems to now be engaged in a legal battle over his health and status. With that being said, Oklahoma linebacker Kenneth Murray will now throw his hat into the ring as well, officially declaring for the draft.

He has the potential to be a first round pick due to the weak linebacker class, even though the position is the lowest priority position on the defensive side of the ball. Playing a fast and physical brand of football, Murray will now look for his skillset to translate to the National Football League.

Seeing significant playing time over the last three seasons for the Sooners, Murray racked up the tackles, hitting 100 in back-to-back seasons in 2018 and 2019. He also recorded a total of 36.5 tackles for loss and nine and a half sacks over his career in Norman, Oklahoma.

This season, Murray was flying all over the field, racking up 69 solo tackles, 17 tackles for loss, and four sacks for the Sooners. In pass defense, Murray tallied four passes defended from the middle of the Oklahoma defense.

Underclassmen early declarations have been in full swing and there will be more to come. Kenneth Murray is officially taking his talents to the next level and into the 2020 NFL Draft. Who will be the next underclassman to declare?
