1. Anthony Harris, S

So far the players mentioned have all been on the offensive side of the ball. That makes perfect sense due to the fact that Kevin Stefanski spent his entire coaching career in Minnesota focused on their offense.

However, that doesn’t mean he can’t reach out to some of the players who he battled with every day in practice. And as fate would have it, the Vikings have one player set for free agency that meets a huge need for Cleveland.

Anthony Harris went from an undrafted kid from Virginia to one of the best players on a stellar defense. Harris was a reserve for the majority of his career up until 2018, when he started nine games. In that campaign, he ended up with 46 tackles, three picks, and six pass defenses.

He was then signed to a restricted free agent contract, which kept him in Minnesota for one more year. And all he did after that was put up the best campaign of his career.

How good of a season did he have? According to Pro Football Focus (subscription required), it was the best out of every strong safety as his 91.1 rating ranked him above everyone else in the league at his position.

Now set for free agency, Harris would be a solidifying force in the Browns secondary and with Morgan Burnett coming off a torn Achilles and Damarious Randall on the way out, they sorely need that.

Don’t be surprised if they still draft a safety, even if they were to land someone such as Harris, but they won’t feel as though they have to reach — which could be the case with the roster as it stands now.
