Packers upgrade pass catchers in 7-round 2020 NFL Draft mock

The Green Bay Packers came up one game short of another Super Bowl berth and now look to reload their roster in this 7-round 2020 NFL Draft mock
The Green Bay Packers season came to an end on Sunday night as they were defeated 37-20 in the NFC Championship Game. They did all they could to make it a game, scoring 13 points in the final quarter, but the 27-0 lead that San Francisco built in the first half proved to be too much to overcome. Here is a mock draft for the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft to make you feel a bit better.
In the loss, the Packers showed some flaws that need to be addressed in the offseason. One thing that stood out was their inability to stop the run. Raheem Mostert had a field day, going for 220 yards and scoring four touchdowns. The yardage was the second-most in NFL history in the postseason and the touchdown total was tied for second.
Their inability to stop the run allowed the Niners to pull off a win despite throwing only eight passes as Jimmy Garoppolo was 6-of-8 for 77 yards. That’s it. Just 77 yards.
While that performance was alarming, the Packers can’t go into the offseason overthinking things on defense. They added a lot of talent last year and while they need to fill some holes, they have some glaring issues on offense as well.
Star players such as Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Jones, and Devante Adams are all great but the role players around them leave a lot to be desired. With Adams being slowed down in the first half, the Green Bay offense was unable to do much at all. That also played right into the 49ers plans as Mostert was able to rush for 160 yards in the first half since Green Bay’s offense was MIA.
With all that being said, we jump into a 7-round mock draft for the Packers where we try and add some offensive playmakers while still looking to add help with the defense.
