2. Jordan Love, Utah State

Another potential option for Dallas is to look at Jordan Love from Utah. Unlike Jake Fromm, Love seems certain to be a first-round pick even though his last season with the Aggies was less than ideal. Love, who entered 2019 as one of the best prospects had to deal with a new coaching staff and nine new starters on offense around him.

Even with that happening, he has everything a team wants in their starting quarterback. He has the arm, mobility, and accuracy which makes him perfect for today’s NFL according to Joe Marino of The Draft Network.

More from Dallas Cowboys

"“Jordan Love isn’t without his warts but he possesses a high-level physical skill set and peaks on tape that reveal the ceiling of a potential dynamic NFL starting quarterback. His arm talent and mobility is perfect for the trends of today’s NFL and there is no limitations to what he can do on the field. The full playbook is open for Love and then some.” — Marino, The Draft Network"

As Marino says, there are some areas that Love needs to improve. Like most incoming rookies, he doesn’t always show the best vision and makes some questionable throws. There are also mechanics issues but we saw much worse out of Dak Prescott in this area and it was never an issue as he started from day one for Dallas.

It would be a huge change for the Cowboys but Love has what it takes to be a succesful quarterback at the next level.
