Scouting Report

It is a weak class of interior offensive linemen in the 2020 NFL Draft, but Michigan Wolverines football center Cesar Ruiz stands out among the rest

The NFL season is over, capped off by a Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl LIV victory over the San Francisco 49ers. As if it were not already, it is officially draft season, as the 2020 NFL Draft is now less than 80 days away. In order to get the party of draft season started, Michigan Wolverines football center Cesar Ruiz will be looked at deeper in this scouting report.

This year’s draft class has a deep crop of talent at many positions, including wide receiver, defensive line, and cornerback. Among one of the weak position groups in this year’s 2020 NFL Draft is the interior offensive line class as the centers and offensive guards are slim pickings at this point in the pre-draft process.

While there are a few who could make for top-50 picks at the next level, such as LSU’s Lloyd Cushenberry and Fresno State’s Netane Muti, there is one interior offensive line prospect that stands out among the rest: Michigan Wolverines football center Cesar Ruiz.

We will take a look at the standout center, the top interior offensive lineman in the 2020 NFL Draft, here in this scouting report.
