Weaknesses

Lamb’s skill set is so well-rounded that it is difficult to find many holes in his game.

While he is able to hit top gear in a hurry, Lamb does not possess elite speed and often struggled to pull away from defenders.

In the NFL, where the defenses are significantly faster and more disciplined than those he faced in the Big 12, that may limit his big-play potential.

Verdict

In a stacked receiver class, several wideouts can be considered to be the best in class.

Lamb’s claim, however, may be the strongest. He won’t be among the fastest in pre-draft testing, but Lamb has the game to overcome a lack of top-end speed and immediately take a starting role for the team lucky enough to land a receiver most expect to come off the board in round one.
