Daniel Jones has a tendency to fumble the football and his offensive line did not help him. The Giants look to protect him here in this 2020 NFL Draft simulation

The New York Giants did not have the season that they would have liked. The Giants went (4-12) this season. With the offseason just getting started, the Giants are going through the draft process right now. The Giants are creating their big boards, scouting players, waiting for the NFL Combine before things are final. This is the New York Giants Mock Draft.

The Giants have a number of needs that they need to fill this offseason if they want to make that step up from last season. They need to address the offensive line early, especially address the tackle position. The Giants have Kevin Zeitler and Will Hernandez at the guard position, but they need to upgrade everywhere else on the offensive line.

The New York Giants also need to get pressure on the quarterback. They need an elite EDGE rusher. The Giants did a midseason trade, they traded for Leonard Williams to give the defensive line some help. They gave up a 3rd round pick and potentially also a 4th if they do not re-sign him from the New York Jets.

The New York Giants spent a lot of picks in last year’s draft to help the secondary. Deandre Baker, Julian Love, and Corey Ballentine all played cornerback in college and they all were select in last year’s draft, also they had Sam Beal that was out all 2018-2019 season with a torn ACL. The Giants have four young cornerbacks that need to get playing time to really see what you have in them.
