Like Joe Burrow, these three transfer quarterbacks are in a position to see their draft stock take a meteoric rise in the 2021 NFL Draft.

This year, LSU quarterback saw a historic rise in his draft stock, unlike anything we have ever seen before. Entering the season as a day-three flyer, Burrow is now the main event of the 2020 NFL Draft and the likely first overall pick of the Cincinnati Bengals. This has set a precedent for the 2021 NFL Draft and beyond.

On a related note, the NCAA is currently working to enact a rule that would allow for collegiate players to transfer schools without having to sit out a full season. Burrow did not have to sit out when transferring to LSU due to being a grad transfer, but it was his move from Ohio State to the Bayou that greatly reshaped his career and the outlook of his future.

Over the next year, two more big time names themselves hit the transfer portal and were granted immediate eligibility. Ohio State landed Georgia transfer Justin Fields, and in a related move Tate Martell left Columbus for Miami. While one has had better success than the other in 2019 with their new school, the point remains: the NCAA is becoming more accommodating to its players, and they are reaping those benefits.

Who are some quarterbacks who could see a meteoric rise in their draft stock in the 2021 NFL Draft as a result of transferring to a different program? There are three that come to mind.
