3. Tennessee Titans

The Titans took a gamble on Jeffery Simmons at pick No. 19 following the ACL tear suffered in the pre-draft season.

Simmons proved well worth the risk as he played a crucial role in the Titans’ unexpected run to the AFC Championship game.

Expect him to be a force on the interior of the Titans’ defensive line for the long term. Second-round pick A.J. Brown and third-rounder Nate Davis each look to have nailed down starting spots on the offense.

Brown was unfortunate not to win Offensive Rookie of the Year after racking up 1,051 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. Davis played 73 percent of the offensive snaps at guard.

They will hope to get greater contributions from later-round picks going forward, but the Titans could hardly have asked for more from their top three.
