2. Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders

Questions remain about two of the Raiders’ first-round picks in the 2019 NFL Draft. The wisdom of selecting Clelin Ferrell fourth overall remains in doubt while most of Johnathan Abram‘s rookie season was lost to injury, but Mike Mayock‘s first draft as Raiders GM looks great after one year.

Josh Jacobs may have won Offensive Rookie of the Year had he not suffered a late-season injury. Were it not for Nick Bosa, Maxx Crosby would likely have won the defensive award.

Fourth-round tight end Foster Moreau and fifth-round slot receiver Hunter Renfrow accounted for nine of the Raiders’ receiving touchdowns in 2019.

If the Raiders hit on their picks in the same manner in the 2020 NFL Draft, it won’t take long for them to be successful in Las Vegas.
