Tua Tagovailoa ended his season with a dislocated hip. Now he gets great news at the Combine as his 2020 NFL Draft stock is back on the rise.

Entering the 2019 season, Tua Tagovailoa was expected to be the No. 1 quarterback in the 2020 NFL Draft. A true leader on the field, he was seen as the missing piece for a struggling franchise such as the Miami Dolphins, who were in full tank mode in an effort to land the Alabama signal-caller.

Since then, Tua has slid down the QB board as Joe Burrow made an impressive leap. Still, Tua looked poised to be a top-5 pick (and could still land with the Dolphins). But then a question came up as he saw his season end due to a nasty dislocated hip.

Concerns were raised about his durability following the injury, which came in the heels of two other significant injuries Tua dealt with while in Tuscaloosa.

However, it seems as though those questions have been put to bed. According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, Tua has undergone two days of medical testing and had fantastic results.

The most important part of this report is the fact that Tagovailoa showed no loss of blood flow, meaning there should be no issue with the same hip going forward.

This means it’s nearly a guarantee that Tua will be the second quarterback taken off the board this spring.

Justin Herbert, who is QB3 on most boards, looked to have a shot at leapfrogging Tua Tagovailoa over the medical concerns. With that out of the way, the only real question seems to be whether Tua will go at No. 5 to Miami or if someone will need to move up.
