Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Round 4. OT. 817. Pick 98. Saahdiq Charles. player

Last season, the Redskins offensive line was a problem. Trent Williams never showed up as he lost faith in the medical staff — and the team as a whole. And now, he’s all but gone as he’s seeking a trade. Donald Penn filled in for him but struggled as he was ranked as the No. 48 tackle in the NFL by Pro Football Focus (subscription required). At right tackle, Morgan Moses wasn’t much better, coming in at 44th.

Washington will surely have to be active in free agency and if they do land a premium pick for Williams, it could end up going toward his replacement. In this mock, they end up waiting until the fourth-round where they land Saahdiq Charles. A potential starter at the next level, Charles is a bit thin and had a suspension in 2019 that teams will question.

Still, he’s a steal at this point as he could push for a starting job early in his career.

Pick Analysis. 850. Pick 130. Bryan Edwards. WR. player. Scouting Report. Round 5

Again, we find a great value pick for the Redskins by selecting Bryan Edwards with the 130th overall pick. A South Carolina product, Edwards never got the attention he deserved. He also wasn’t able to make the most out of his talent thanks to up and down quarterback play.

Listed at 6-foot-3 and 212-pounds, Edwards looks the part of an NFL receiver. And while he won’t wow anyone with his athleticism, he’s one of the better all-around receivers. His route running and soft hands will make him a favorite of Dwayne Haskins and should allow him to have a long NFL career.
