Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Runningback. Arizona State. Eno Benjamin. 72. player. 32

David Johnson‘s future with Arizona is up in the air. With how talented this running back class is, the Cardinals should release Johnson and attack the position in the draft. The Cardinal’s other potential option at running back is Kenyan Drake, but Drake has come out and stated that he wants to “change the trajectory of my family”. With that being said, Drake could be looking for a good chunk of change in free agency and the whole point of getting rid of Johnson is to free up space on the cap, the last thing you should do is fill that void back up with another running back when you can turn to the draft.

Supposing they choose to cut Johnson and let Drake explore other options, Eno Benjamin gets to stay in Arizona and the Cardinal gets themselves a talented back who can operate in space and has the receiving chops that Kingsbury’s offense calls for. Benjamin has phenomenal contact balance and is elusive enough to make people miss, with Kingbury’s spread out offense it’s a great pairing for both Arizona and Benjamin.

Scouting Report. Offensive Tackle. St. John. Ben Bartch. player. Pick Analysis. 76. 32

Received from Tampa Bay

Ever since his week in Mobile, Alabama at the Senior Bowl, Ben Bartch has become a popular name and has helped raise his stock a ton. Bartch originally started his collegiate career as a tight end, but throughout his time at St. Johns he put on 70 pounds (thanks to his homemade milkshake) and is now a top-100 talent at the tackle position.

Coming from a D-III school, it could take him some time to adjust to the talent level in the NFL, but he has is uber-athletic for his size and could be a real steal for Arizona. It’s still unclear whether or not Bartch will fit better at guard as opposed to tackle, but the Cardinals need help anywhere they can get it upfront, so get a guy who with NFL coaching could be the Ali Marpet.
