Round 4, Pick 113: Tyler Biadasz, IOL, Wisconsin

Wisconsin Center, Tyler Biadasz, was a former first round prospect. An injury in 2019 caused his level of play to decline severely and hurt his draft stock. The Wisconsin product may even slip all the way to day three. If he falls this far, it is reasonable to infer that a team will take a chance on his status from before his injury.

The theme of building through the trenches continues into the fourth round for the Carolina Panthers. Biadasz is a low risk high reward option for Carolina in round four. Picking a future starting offensive lineman on day three is a perfect way to start their ascension.

Round 5, Pick 152: Lamar Jackson, CB, Nebraska

No. Not that Lamar Jackson. The Lamar Jackson mentioned here is a cornerback from the University of Nebraska. Jackson has great size for a cornerback. He is long and physical and has man coverage potential in his long term future. Jackson has limitations to his game, like any player does, but in the fifth round, he is an interesting project for defensive coordinator, Phil Snow.

The Carolina Panthers have a need at the cornerback position. James Bradbury is entering free agency. At twenty-seven years old, it is unlikely that Carolina has plans for him in the future. Donte Jackson had a standout rookie year for the Panthers, but struggled in year two. The Panthers could use a lot of help in the secondary.
