The Texans made a baffling trade, shipping DeAndre Hopkins off to the Cardinals. Here are five 2020 NFL Draft receivers they could target as his replacement

In the most jaw-dropping, baffling moves in all of free agency to this point, was made by Bill O’Brien and the Houston Texans. Not only did Houston take on the entire salary of aging and injured running back David Johnson, but they also traded superstar wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for an additional second round pick and a swap of a fourth round pick. Will they now turn to the 2020 NFL Draft to replace him?

There seems to be just one small problem with this plan of replacing Hopkins in the draft, however. They have no first round pick after the deal for offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil just a year ago, and have a second rounder only because of the Hopkins trade.

Barring any more trades, the Texans are going to have to shop the bargain bin on day-two of the draft for their replacement. To make things even worse, 2016 first rounder Will Fuller cannot stay healthy and on the field, meaning the Texans absolutely need to add more talent to their wide receiver corp before the 2020 season begins.

Here are four wide receivers the Texans could target during the second day of the 2020 NFL Draft.
