Texans: 4 2020 NFL Draft prospects to target to replace DeAndre Hopkins
By Cory Kinnan
Donovan Peoples-Jones, Michigan
First on the list is a young man whose college production took a hit due to his collegiate quarterback play, but his film shows a wide receiver with a world of upside. Donovan Peoples-Jones from the University of Michigan is a force outside the numbers, when the ball is thrown his way.

There were whispers that NFL teams valued People-Jones much more than those on social media did, and after the combine he is firmly on the radar of any team in need of a big bodied wide receiver. At over 6-1 and 212 pounds, Peoples-Jones jumped out of Lucas Oil Stadium, hitting 44.5 inches and 11-foot-7 in his vertical and broad jumps respectively.
He then went on to run a sub-4.5 second 40 yard dash as well, displaying burst for his size. On tape, People-Jones shows immense body control as he adjusts to the catch, Charmin soft hands, and a decent amount of route running ability for a man of his stature.
Should the Texans look to add Peoples-Jones, they will needs to do so with the second round pick just acquired by the Cardinals in the blockbuster trade. It is highly unlikely that the former Wolverines’ wide receiver makes it out of the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
