NFL Free Agency is starting to slow down, and a number of high profile players remain unsigned. This includes three former first overall draft picks.

Deals have been struck left and right as NFL free agency is well underway, and are cashing in on the open market as they head to their new teams and cities. However, still on the market are three former first overall draft picks in Jameis Winston, Jadeveon Clowney, and Cam Newton.

Whether they are asking too much for the market, or whether or not there is a market at all for some of them, these three players have all had good careers in their own regard and yet cannot find a home. How long into the Spring and possible Summer will these three have to wait before they put pen to paper on a new contract?

Despite the COVID-19 outbreak, teams are still negotiating contracts, and one would think (for Clowney at least) that their time on the open market should be starting to dwindle. One would also have to ponder: would Winston and Newton prefer to sit out rather than take a deal as a backup as well?

Here we will take a look at the three players and try to pinpoint the ideal landing spots for Winston, Clowney, and Newton.
