The Jets have been very active in free agency but will that carry over to the 2020 NFL Draft and will they get what they need to get into the playoffs.

The New York Jets in 2019 took a big step in the right direction with second-year quarterback Sam Darnold, but have plenty of building to do in the 2020 NFL Draft. New York is just missing a few pieces to make a splash in the AFC East. Getting a few pieces on the offensive line to help protect Darnold and give Le’Veon Bell some holes that can run through.

Last offseason the Gang Green made a big splash in free agency in bringing one of the best linebackers to New York, C.J. Mosley. Unfortunately, Mosley only played two games all season due to his groin injury. In two games, Mosley had four solo tackles and an interception. The Jets defense will look totally different next year when Mosley gets back into the starting lineup.

The New York Jets had a problem this offseason with their former first-round pick in 2019, Quinnen Williams. Williams had a Glock 19 handgun in his carry on bag at LaGuardia Airport, Williams was arrested. The Jets also lost another defensive tackle to the New York Giants in a trade. The Giants traded for Leonard Williams for a third-round pick in this year’s draft and a fifth-round pick in 2021 draft. What will the Jets do in the 2020 NFL Draft?
