2020 NFL Draft: Buffalo Bills team review before the draft
Team Needs
Cornerback
The Buffalo defense was one of the best in the NFL last season, especially that secondary. The Bills have one of the most talented cornerbacks in the entire NFL in Tre’Davious, but the Bills signed Josh Norman this offseason right after the Washington Redskins released him. Norman is not getting any younger, they need to try to keep this defense intact but if you let Norman start all 16 games, the Bills defense will not be the same this upcoming season. The Bills need to draft a cornerback that can come and start games in the middle of the season that will complete that defense.
Running Back
The Buffalo Bills are one of those teams that like to have a committee of running backs, not a workhorse. The second-year running back Devin Singletary showed what he could do later in the year and in the playoffs too. Frank Gore is ageless, Gore is coming back to Buffalo for another year and Gore will get carries. The Bills do not have any depth after there two starters. The Bills will need to target another running back in the middle rounds that can complement Singletary.
Edge Rusher
The Buffalo Bills are in need of an edge rusher for the upcoming seasons, but not for 2020. The Bills already have Jerry Hudges that had a good season for the Bills last year, they also have Trent Murphy that will probably take Shaq Lawson spot, and the Bills also signed Mario Addison this offseason. The Bills need to draft an edge rusher that can sit for a season or two to develop to become a long term starter for the Buffalo Bills.
