Team Needs

Quarterback

If you have been following the NFL for a while now it is still very weird to say that Tom Brady will not be playing for the Patriots next season. With the Patriots not having their starting quarterback for the last two decades they need to find his replacement in this draft or at least find a quarterback that can compete for the starting spot down in New England. Maybe the Patriots can get lucky with another late-round pick on quarterback, we all saw how the last one turned out.

Tight End

The New England Patriots just need a tight end on their roster that can play the entire season healthy. You know what they say, the tight end is a rookie quarterback’s best friend. If the Patriots can draft a tight end on day two, this could change this offense. Having someone that can block the edge rusher and someone that can go up and get the ball in the end zone, does that sound like someone that used to play for the Patriots just a few years ago.

Edge Rusher

The New England Patriots are going to win games this season because of their defense. In free agency, the Pats lost a few key pieces that meshed this defense together. Van Noy, Collins, Danny Shelton, and the Patriots traded away a talented young defensive back to the Detriot Lions. If the Patriots can get an edge rusher with one of their two, day two picks, the Patriots can be looking like their old selves on defense at least.
