Team Needs for 2020 NFL Draft

Cornerback

Minnesota lost all three of their starting cornerbacks due to free agency, Xavier Rhodes, Trae Waynes, and Mackenzie all decided to sign with different teams. With all three starters gone, they have a huge hole to fill. The Vikings have a few young players that could get the CB2 and CB3 spot but the Vikings need to get their future starting cornerback in the first round if they want to get back to the playoffs.

Wide Receiver

The Vikes decided to ship away their star wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Buffalo Bills. The Vikings have a very talented receiver in Adam Thielen but he coming off a season when he was out for six games due to his hamstring injury. The Vikings need to put some talent around Kirk Cousins if they want to get back to the playoffs and have the success they did running the football with Dalvin Cook. The Vikings have three picks inside the top 60, you can expect them to grab a receiver with one of those picks.

Edge Rusher

The Minnesota Vikings long time defensive end Everson Griffen is no longer on the roster, their talks about him coming back on the cheap. The Vikings defensive end Ifeadi Odenigbo had a breakout season with seven sacks on the year. The Vikings need to bring in a player that can at least compete for the starting spot and also the Vikings need to get some depth at that position.
