2020 NFL Draft: New York Giants favoring Alabama OT Jedrick Wills
The former Alabama right tackle Jedrick Wills could be on the move after the 2020 NFL Draft to New York. The new New York Giants tackle?
The former Alabama right tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. could be on the move after the 2020 NFL Draft to the New York Giants. According to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan and Rich Cimini, there has been a bunch of ‘buzz’ going around the league that the New York Giants are going to take Jedrick Wills Jr. with the fourth overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft come April 23rd.
Then, NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah confirmed this report, stating the Giants are in fact leaning towards Wills with the fourth overall pick in the draft. With less than a week until the main event, things are about to get crazy as rumors are flying off the wall.
Earlier this week, Bleacher Report’s own Matt Miller, ranked Wills as the number one offensive tackle in this year’s draft class and his seventh best overall prospect in this draft class. Miller also said that he is the best pass blocker in this draft and that Wills is the best scheme fit for the New York Giants.
Wills, 20, is one of the best offensive tackles in this year’s draft. Wills is 6’4 and weighs in around 315 pounds. With Wills being so young, a team will draft him knowing when he gets a bit older he could turn out to be the best offensive tackle in this draft class. With Andrew Thomas, Tristan Wirfs, and Mekhi Becton all in the same conversation, where there is a Wills there is a way.
