Tennessee Titans team preview before 2020 NFL Draft
Team Needs
Secondary
The Tennessee defense needs to find a slot cornerback. That position could be filled by a safety or a cornerback. This offseason the Titans parted ways with safety Kenny Vaccaro and cornerback Logan Ryan, the Titans are going to need to find that void in free agency or the draft if they want to go back to the Playoffs and try to make another run at the Super Bowl.
Wide Receivers
Tennessee decided to sign quarterback Ryan Tannehill on a four-year extension. If the Titans want to see the same Tannehill from last year, give him more weapons on offense. Tennessee drafted A.J. Brown in last year’s draft and also have former first-round pick, Corey Davis. If the Titans can grab another outside receiver for Tannehill, that could really set up this entire offense for success.
Edge Rusher
The Tennessee Titans have been trying to find their future edge rusher for years now. Harold Landry has been the best one that they found, they need an upgrade. If the Titans can get a solid edge rusher, the Titans could find themselves back in the playoffs next season. Edge rusher is the second important position on the field, first is the quarterback, if the Titans can get an upgrade in the first-round they will be set for year’s to come.
