Team Needs

Cornerback

Hotalanta has two young cornerbacks in Kendall Sheffield and Isaiah Oliver. With the release of Desmond Trufant, the Falcons are short at the cornerback position. The division that the Falcons are in with some very good receivers, Mike Evans, Michael Thomas, and Chris Godwin. The Falcons need a true No.1 cornerback that can shadow the opponent’s No.1 wide receiver.

Defensive Line

The entire unit just needs help. The only reliable player on this line that played last season was Grady Jarrett. Dante Fowler will man one edge rusher spot, with Takk McKinley needing to earn his keep this upcoming season. They just need some serious help on the defensive line.

Running Back

Atlanta Falcons do not hate me, Todd Gurley is a stud at running back, BUT he is always hurt. You need a running back that can play an entire season. Gurley only signed an one-year deal as well, getting someone that can come in and learn behind Gurley could be huge for that rookie. Whether if he is workhorse or just a third-down back specialist this season, whatever can develop him whenever Gurley leaves to go get a deal after the season.
