With the 19th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders select Damon Arnette, cornerback, Ohio State University

With the Las Vegas Raiders moving into a new stadium, with new fans, and now new players. LAs Vegas has made a bunch of signings during this free agency period and they have just drafted two future stars that they hope will wear a Raiders jersey for many years to come. First they landed Henry Ruggs, now they land Damon Arnette.

Let’s talk about what the Raiders did in free agency. Las Vegas have made some very good moves that I would give them A-plus grades and they have made moves cut and or signing players that I do not agree with that I give them D even F grades.

The good signings Las Vegas had were linebacker Cory Littleton, quarterback Marcus Mariota, defensive end Carl Nassib, and defensive tackle Maliek Collins. The Raiders got their quarterback for the offense and the defense. Yes, I believe Mariota will be the starting quarterback when the season ends. Vegas also signed their quarterback of the defense in Cory Littleton. Littleton is the gel that brings that defense together.

A few signings that I disagree with were the tight end Jason Witten, wide receiver Nelson Agholor, and running back Rod Smith. If you wanted Witten in your locker room, why not just offer him a coaching job? Las Vegas signed a player that plays receiver for living that is having a tough time catching the football. Will the Raiders be a playoff team next season in the new stadium?

Adding Ruggs and now Arnette will take the Raiders strides forward.
