Team Needs

Wide Receiver

The San Francisco 49ers had a need for a wide receiver in the middle of the season. Deebo Samuel is a stud, but Samuel is not a true No.1 receiver. That is what the 49ers are missing. The 49ers traded for Emmanuel Sanders during the middle of the season which that help, but when Sanders left to go to the New Orleans Saints on a three-year deal due to free agency. It made the need for a receiver even more glaringly obvious.

Cornerback

The San Francisco 49ers fans do not get ma at me, but Richard Sherman not getting any younger and on top of that he is entering the final deal of his contract. Akhello Witherspoon is also entering the final year of his contract. Witherspoon has not done enough for the 49ers to be able to justify them resigning him and Emmanuel Mosely has not proven that he is the long term answer.

Offensive Line

The San Francisco 49ers released center/guard Mike Person, that came to be a shock to me. At guard, the 49ers are going to have a three-way competition with Ben Garland, Shon Coleman, and Daniel Brunskill. The 49ers longtime tackle Joe Stanley announced that he is going to play one more year, the 49ers could look to find his successor in this draft.
