With the 14th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the 49ers select Javon Kinlaw after trading back one spot with the Buccaneers.

The Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski era just started in Tompa Bay. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are forming the team around Brady and now Gronk. They landed Wirfs after trading up one spot with the 49ers. The Niner then landed Javon Kinlaw with the 14th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Tompa Bay Gronkaneers job this offseason was to sign the G.O.A.T. After when the Bucs accomplished step No.1, now they have to upgrade their offensive line. The Niners were then able to add draft capital and still land their guy in Kinlaw one pick later.

After falling one game short of a Super Bowl victory, the Niners are going to do what it takes to get back to the Promised Land. After trading DeForest Buckner to the Colts, they replace him with Kinlaw here with the 14th pick in the draft.

This makes for a bit of a puzzling move as they traded the established Buckner only to replace him with a rookie with right around the same value. They do however, get Kinlaw for much cheaper than Buckner would have been had they paid him.

One of the more incredible stories in this draft class, Kinlaw has scraped and clawed for every ounce of praise he has gotten throughout this pre-draft process. Congratulations to Kinlaw who has overcome more than one person should have to face in a lifetime.
