What is the best case scenario for the Washington Redskins in the 2020 NFL Draft? Find out in our final 2020 Redskins 7-round mock draft.

The Washington Redskins need a successful draft if they plan to be a competitive football team in 2020. They completely revamped their coaching staff with the hiring of Ron Rivera, who brought in a number of new assistant coaches. They also re-worked the entire front office, starting with the removal of long time Team President Bruce Allen. How well are they prepped for the 2020 NFL Draft?

The team then went out and signed a number of quality free agents, maximizing the money they spent. They chose to address the depth issue with the roster, building a strong foundation for the future under Ron Rivera. Because they were able to add depth in free agency, this allows the team to draft freely and simply select the best players available with each pick.

#2: Chase Young, EDGE, Ohio State:

The best player in the class, the Redskins will likely only trade back if a team gets desperate for the #2 pick. I can’t see them moving further than the 5th or 6th pick in a trade down scenario. At the end of the day, I believe they select Young, and give them to talent to possess the top defensive line in the NFL.
