#163: KJ Hill, WR, Safety

Redskins quarterback Dwayne Haskins has made it clear he wants KJ Hill to join the Redskins. It makes sense on Washington’s side as well. They’ve done well drafting from THE Ohio State, and Hill already has chemistry with Haskins and #1 receiver Terry McLaurin. Hill is a strong route runner and a smooth athlete. He’s not going to outrun many DBs in the NFl, but he’s natural at creating separation on the underneath.

#217: Trey Adams, OT, Washington

Injury concerns force Adams to slide all the way to the 7th, but the value is too much for an NFL team to pass up. Adams has produced some very good tape at Washington, he’s also produced some very bad tape. Getting Adams in to the building, and making sure he’s a 100% will go a long way. He has the talent to eventually uproot Morgan Moses as the starting right tackle.

#230: Stephen Sullivan, TE, LSU

Is it unlikely the Redskins draft two tight ends from the same school? Yes. Is it impossible? No. As I mentioned earlier, the Redskins tight end room is bad. It lacks depth and talent. So, adding Sullivan in round 7 is a smart play. He was underused in college due to some off the field issues, but he’s a great athlete with a big frame and good hands. He’s the opposite of Moss, as he’s better suited to operate as a big slot, instead of on the line of scrimmage.
