With the 29th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans select Georgia offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson in order to protect Ryan Tannehill.

Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry are the faces of the Tennessee Titans franchise. With the 29th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, they select Isaiah Wilson to bolster their offensive line.

Was anyone else shocked when the Titans made it all the way to the AFC Championship game with Ryan Tannehill at quarterback? To this day, I still can not believe it. The Titans were able to keep both of their studs on offense, Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill. Tannehill got a four-year deal, while Henry was franchise tagged but my personal opinion is that Henry will get extended during the NFL season.

The 2019 NFL Draft was right outside Broadway Nashville. With Nashvegas’ first-round pick last year, Tennessee went with Jeffery Simmons. Simmons is going to take Jurrell Casey‘s starting spot. Casey was traded this offseason to the Denver Broncos for a seventh-round pick. With the Titans second-round pick, the Titans took A.J. Brown. Brown was a huge difference-maker Week 1, but you really did not hear his name until the Titans benched Marcus Mariota and started Ryan Tannehill.

Whenever Ryan Tannehill came in to start over Marcus Mariota, the offense just looked in sync. Derrick Henry was breaking big runs, Tannehill was throwing the ball 40,50, 60 yards touchdowns, A.J. Brown was looking like he could win offensive rookie of the year. The offense was one of the best in football in the back half of the season and ran the tables all the way to the AFC Champion game with Ryan Tannehill at quarterback.

Do you think Tennessee will be a playoff team next season after coming a game short of the Super Bowl in 2019? Adding Wilson will only help those odds.
