The sleepers:

Three years ago Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen rose to become a top-ten pick, this past season Joe Burrow rose all the way up the draft boards to a Heisman winner and first overall pick after being assigned a day-three grade preseason. Who could climb the boards this year?

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Cincinnati. Desmond Ridder. 9. QB. player. 830

The University of Cincinnati has been on the rise since Luke Fickell took over the reigns in southwest Ohio. They have a talented and young signal caller in Desmond Ridder who looks to build on a solid sophomore season for the Bearcats. With great poise and plus mobility, Ridder has the tools as he looks to dominate the American Athletic Conference in 2020.

Scouting Report. QB. Shane Buechele. 7. Pick Analysis. SMU. player. 884

Another American Athletic conference quarterback who displays the tools, but may lack a bit of pop in his arm in Southern Methodist’s Shane Buechele. More of a pocket passer, Buechele wins with great awareness and IQ, and has solid talent around him like 2021 NFL Draft target Reggie Roberson.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. ECU. player. Holton Ahlers. 12. 932

All three here were American Athletic Conference quarterbacks as the final one to make an appearance is East Carolina’s Holton Ahlers. A lefty, Ahlers has a bit of a funky throwing motion, but has shown the accuracy downfield and the mobility to move the Pirates’ offense down the field.
