Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals need all types of help on the offensive line. They have already made investments into the offensive line with the drafting of Houston tackle Josh Jones in the 2020 NFL Draft. Jones may spend a year learning or move to guard because the Cardinals are returning both of their starting offensive tackles. Arizona has some young interior offensive linemen that they like, but they would be foolish to pass up on Warford after his release from the Saints.

Arizona has done everything possible to make sure that their young star quarterback, Kyler Murray, is surrounded with talent this off-season. Earlier this year, the Cardinals were able to swindle the Houston Texans into giving up all world receiver DeAndre Hopkins. They also applied the transition tag onto explosive Kenyan Drake. The Cardinals have made an investment into Murray and believe that him and head coach Kliff Kingsbury will help take them to the next level.

Arizona does not have much cap space remaining, especially with their rookie class being unsigned. However, if they can get creative with cap space, they could be able to get Warford on the roster. He would be a huge addition for the Cardinals offensive line and Murray. With his small frame, Murray should be protected to avoid injury. Looking at the moves that they’ve made this off-season, the Arizona Cardinals appear to be ready to compete in the stacked NFC West division.
